Before becoming a Pirate, I finished my elementary school and junior high school in Mexico. I was fortunate to graduate from Hueneme High School before joining the ARMY.  While in the service, I got to travel to New York, Honduras and Panamá. When I finished my tour of duty, I decided to continue my education in Oxnard College. I transfer from Oxnard College to Pepperdine University where I got my bachelor’s degree. I went to California Lutheran University for my Spanish teaching credential and attended University of California Santa Barbara for my master’s degree.

Staying in school seems to be my marvelous karma. Just yesterday, 1996, I became a proud Pirate at Santa Ynez High School. I have enjoyed teaching in the Santa Ynez Valley. The students are very respectful and the parents are very supportive.  The employees at Santa Ynez High School are all caring and dedicated to the students and to each other. There is no place I would rather be and I just hope I can help you if you ever need me.

“Get on the ship and let’s keep sailing!” I assure you will never forget your Santa Ynez High School experience because it has been and  it’s going keep being an expectacular adventure.
