I am proud to be a part of equipping young people with the skills and determination they will use to make their dreams come true.  The language arts and the ability to communicate effectively are foundational elements of success.  Our English department has put together a rigorous, relevant curriculum that provides students the skills they need to achieve at the next level.  It is a privilege to be the first step in this process.

 

 

I began teaching at Isla Vista School in Goleta in 1989.  I moved to Santa Ynez High School in 1996.  My husband is a campus supervisor and coach, my son Ben graduated with the class of 2010, and my son Brock is a junior at SYHS.
