We are fortunate to have beautiful facilities in which to educate our students. Our facilities also serve a significant community role, facilitating a multitude of events for youth activities, community college courses, the arts…the list is long. Due to this high use, aging facilities that are almost eighty years old in some cases, and insufficient funds from the State of California, we are in a place where we need to know exactly what our facility needs are for the next ten years. With all of this in mind, and after an extensive interview process, we have engaged the services of Johnson Controls International to assist us in this process. We are currently underway with a facilities assessment and hope to have a completed plan by the end of next Fall. With the identification of project needs formalized in this way, we hope to position ourselves to be eligible for possible State of California construction/modernization funds if and when they become available.
